Kristina Harris is an associate based in the Tampa office of Boyle, Leonard & Anderson, P.A where she focuses her practice on insurance coverage disputes and risk transfer issues in the commercial general liability context, insurance claim presentation, and commercial litigation.

Kristina is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.

Kristina completed her undergraduate studies at the University of West Florida in her hometown of Pensacola, Florida where she studied history and psychology. While there, she was selected as a Kugelman Honors Scholar and J.C. Pace Scholar and completed a study abroad semester in Tokyo, Japan.

Kristina obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law. During law school, Kristina worked as a law clerk at a statewide insurance defense firm, served as a research assistant, and served as a teacher’s assistant for legal research and writing. She also published a journal article in the U.C. Davis Journal of International Law and Policy entitled Seeking an Equitable Standard for Transactions in the International Antiquities Trade: A Critique of the 1995 UNIDROIT Convention on Stolen or Illegally Exported Cultural Objects while in law school.

After gaining admission to the Florida Bar, Kristina spent several years at prominent insurance defense firms, primarily focusing on first-party coverage issues and extra contractual “bad faith” litigation. There, she gained experience dealing with a variety of insurance coverage issues at both pre and post-suit stages, including, multi-property commercial claims, residential claims, builders risk claims, business interruption claims, and jewelers claims.

In her spare time, Kristina enjoys reading, gardening, and practicing Taekwondo.
